28 problems is a dance piece by choreographer Dayna Hanson, based on a discarded sheet of hand-written calculus problems. To create the piece, Hanson choreographed around 40 movement glyphs, each corresponding to characters from the source page.
These GIFs show front and back views of some of the glyphs in 28 problems. As such, they can serve as a learning tool for Hanson’s open-source choreography. The drag-and-drop interface also allows the viewer to rearrange the Glyph GIFs to form a range of mathematical expressions.
