As summer comes to a close and Autumn settles in, the SZ Team is changing with the seasons. With great pride and bittersweet joy, we send Lara Tedrow off to the University of Washington School of Architecture’s graduate program (one of only twenty graduate students selected). We took time out to toast her next chapter with a delicious London Fog Cake from Deep Sea Sugar & Salt - yum.

Lara has been an integral part of the SZ Team for almost five years, and has grown immensely, as a talented Architectural Designer & Project Manager. Thankfully, she will continue on part-time, and as her studies allow. Go get ‘em, Lara!

Simultaneously, we welcome Shakiba Ahmadi full-time as a recent graduate from UW’s Master of Science in Architecture in Design Computing. This is in addition to her Bachelor of Architectural Engineering and Master of Architecture from University of Tehran. These ambitious women bring unique skills to the design team, and we are eager to see where their aspirations lead them next. Congratulations to them both!

SZ Build is also excited to announce the addition of Parker Eberhard, Construction Manager. Parker has both Bachelor of Science & Master of Architecture degrees from the University of Cincinnati. He’s worked in both the Residential & Commercial design fields, including Store Design and Starbucks alongside Suzanne. They reconnected after Parker ventured from Design to several years experience as a Construction Manager, focusing more recently on retail & restaurant build-outs. Parker’s fluency in both design & construction further strengthens SZ Team’s ability to serve our clients seamlessly, creatively & logistically.
