The Seattle Universal Math Museum (SUMM) is a non-profit organization striving to elevate the mathematical mind-set of people in the Seattle area, by enhancing their confidence and enthusiasm to rise to a higher level of success in mathematics. SUMM will not only have a positive impact on people's mathematical lives, but will also be an asset to the community, helping people reach their academic, career and financial goals.
Behind every great cause is a great team. This one is led by Founder, Tracy Drinkwater. Her background in business, technology, education, problem-solving and adventure have dovetailed in this project to start a Math Museum in Seattle. Out of her love for math and Tracy’s vision, Suzanne has joined the Board of SUMM, along side an array of enthusiastic professionals.
At a young age Suzanne took refuge in math, logic and deductive reasoning, when the world around her didn’t make sense. Fascinated by patterns of behavior found in nature, she drew inspiration in both art and science. Math became the universal language spoken in her pursuits in art, structural engineering and architecture. She shares in SUMM’s passion to make math accessible, breaking down barriers for those who need better access to math education and inspiration.
It is with grateful hearts and plans for the future that we invite you to join the new SUMM Math Club in support of the work necessary to create a comprehensive business plan, program and capital campaign. This Giving Tuesday, consider a donation to this worthy and exciting endeavor.
SUMM gratefully accepts corporate giving matches and gifts from donor advised funds. Seattle Universal Math Museum is a 501(c)(3) Tax ID# 84-2800368. All gifts are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
